Here are a few places WM Technology and Weedmaps showed up in the news in May 2022. 

• Regenerative Cannabis Live Event (NYC, May 5) - Bridget Hennessey, VP of Public Affairs at Weedmaps, participated in a panel at the day-long event held at the United Nations in New York City. The panel, “Normalization and Regulation of the Cannabis Industry driven by Education” can be viewed in its entirety here. 
   
• The Green Peak podcast feat. WM Technology CFO, Arden Lee (Cannabis Radio) - Green Peak host Richard Zwicky spoke to Arden about the company’s growth, going public, and the build versus by approach of Weedmaps recent acquisitions. 
   
• Amazon Meets Shopify Meets Cannabis - WM Technology CEO Chris Beals (Seeking Alpha) - Jesse Redmond chatted with Weedmaps CEO Chris Beals about the overall growth within the cannabis industry, predictions for SAFE banking, acquisitions, and more. 
   
• The Forefront of Cannabis Tech (Benzinga) - Javier Hasse spoke to Chris Beals and Jeremy Jacobs, CEO and Co-founder of Enlighten) about the WM Technology acquisition of Enlighten in early 2022. During the live show, the three chatted about how the acquisition will allow for expanded, omnichannel consumer touchpoints for Weedmaps/WM Business clients and consumers. 
   
• Killer Mike Talks better Marijuana Laws, Shares His Smoking Ritual, And Tells Us Why He Loves Indicas (Uproxx) - Reporter Dane Rivera spoke to Killer Mike about the Weedmaps-produced Tumbleweeds series, cannabis laws, and working with locals during the filming process. 
   
• Xpocanna: Connecticut Cannabis Expo (Uncasville, CT) This two-day conference focused on the Connecticut adult use cannabis market and featured exhibitors as well as presentations and panel discussions. Declan Binninger, Sr. Director of Government Relations at Weedmaps, spoke on day two of the convention on “Predictions for Connecticut's Adult Use Market.
   
• Highly Objective podcast feat. Chris Beals - Dai Truong, host of the Highly Objective podcast, chatted with Chris Beals about his background, joining Weedmaps and taking the company public.
