Product update: Weedmaps launches live menu and orders integration with Treez

Weedmaps and Treez clients can now enjoy a more seamless menu and order experience with new live menu and orders integrations.
Weedmaps has partnered with point-of-sale (POS) provider Treez to offer retail clients a single method to update Weedmaps menus and receive customer orders. The live menu integration connects the client’s Treez POS with their Weedmaps menu and regularly searches through the POS data to keep the menu accurate and up-to-date. The integration runs automatically, but clients can still edit their Weedmaps menu from their POS and the Weedmaps admin panel, allowing them to customize promotions and offerings.
“Since using this integration for our store and delivery, we were able to streamline our operations and scale,” said Christopher Fenske, Chief Strategy Officer of Jaderoom. “Beforehand, we had an employee whose sole responsibility was inputting Weedmaps orders into Treez. We now have been able to utilize the worker’s time elsewhere where it is much needed, while having Treez receive our online orders seamlessly.”
With the orders integration, orders placed on Weedmaps will automatically be sent to the client’s point of sale (POS) system for fulfillment or in-store pickup. This reduces friction for the client by removing the need to enter orders from Weedmaps manually into their POS. Additionally, customers have a better shopping experience with status updates via text/SMS on their order.
