Item 8.01 Other Events.

 

As described in the prospectus for the initial public offering of Silver Spike Acquisition Corp. (the “Company”), holders of the Company’s units (the “Units”) may elect to separately trade the Class A ordinary shares and warrants included in the Units commencing on September 30, 2019. No fractional warrants will be issued upon separation of the units and only whole warrants will trade. Those Units not separated will continue to trade on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the symbol “SSPKU,” and each of the Class A ordinary shares and warrants that are separated will trade on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the symbols “SSPK” and “SSPKW,” respectively.
